Leanora’s Books consist of the Complementation of Life work and experiences, professional as well as social within my community.

1. Reflection:
Going on a journey to find the person I lost due to compromises over the years. It looks at my strengths, weaknesses, fears, hopes, and motivation in the past, the present, and the future.
Going back to find the person and to renew my belief in myself, beliefs that got eroded over the years due to putting other aspirations and goals before my own.

2. Collection of Poems over the Years.
Over the years I wrote poems that reflects my Life in varying moods, the love of nature with its changing seasons, when I miss my Country of birth and in general life itself.
Made the decision to share these poems with my readers and hope that he enjoy reading them as much as I like putting pen to paper

3. Biography, sharing part of my LIFE with my readers.
Biography is sharing Part of my Life’s journey with my readers. I found looking back on certain areas of my life enjoyable visulising the joy and happiness of the good times, and resilience developed through the struggles of what life throws at the person and finding solution for those challenges. I am so grateful to the people I met who help me along the way.
I hope you enjoy reading the summarised version of my biography as much as I enjoyed writing it for you. Never forget that Life is what the individual makes it and my advice is to live life to the full because you are only here for a short period of rime, so let ‘every moment count’.

Jamaica, the land of my birth and home until the age of 12 1/2 when I immigrated to England to live with my mother, Maudadella Bailey

THE COUNTRY AND ITS PEOPLE
Jamaica is the third-largest island in the Caribbean, and one of the most diverse and colourful countries in the Caribbean. Jamaica’s history, culture, and people have thrust this small island of 4,244 sq. miles to the international stage.
I lived in Birmingham when I arrived in England at the age of 12 ½ until I was 19 years old when I left to join The Women Royal Air Force.
This Book is an Extensive Research over 3 years gathering facts from different sources to find balanced information on the Country and its Multicultural Society of People from All Nationalities.  Jamaicans born and bred in the United Kingdom only personally have a small amount of their history unless they develop the thirty to know more and information in Specific United Kingdom Libraries only covered a very limited information on the Country and its History.
I dedicated this Book as my Legacy to to my young Sister Jacqueline, Brother Fitzroy, Michael, my son, and his generation, as well as the next three generations of Children born in the United Kingdom. Also, to generations of Children of children of Jamaican parentage born in thr United Kingdom. It contains facts of the country’s history from varying sources positives as well as negative opinions. Some of the products, and services this small country provides to other countries.
What others think of Jamaican people is both negative and positive.  My perceptions on the Country, its people, and how others see us as Jamaicans.  It is hoped that each generation will update the information to take on board changes in services and products provided and most importantly the growth of people and country.
As a Proud Jamaican, I feel the need to partly complete the education of family, friends, and the wider society where necessary of the “Formidable History of Our People”.   I will endeavour to capture as much relevant information as possible via my 3 years of research on the subject.
